About
We enhance outdoor spaces, making them more inviting and comfortable in any weather conditions
High-quality balustrade and window systems provide superior wind protection and sound insulation, creating comfortable and functional outdoor spaces. Our company specialises in solutions for cafes, restaurants, resorts, and balconies. These systems ensure year-round usability while seamlessly blending style and performance.
Svalson AB is a second generation family run company manufacturing glazing solutions in Sweden since 1981
Svalson production facilities are located in Öjebyn (in Piteå) and in Luleå, Sweden. Our balustrade and window systems are sold worldwide with a growing presence in Australia.
The wind barriers adjust in height with the assistance of a counterweight, making them easy to pull up and push down. The height adjustable glass remains at any height without locking.
Our products are manufactured using aluminium frames and laminated safety glass. We provide panels in five different heights and width up to 2200mm. Satin anodized aluminium is the standard frame finish, or you can choose to powder coat the frame in any colour to suit your design.
Svalson is a proud member of the Nordic Balcony Association, ensuring you receive safe, high-quality railing and glazing solutions. Our height-adjustable glazing is rigorously tested for wind load and personal safety, including heavy impact resistance, by the SP – Technical Research Institute of Sweden. It is CE marked in accordance with EN 1090, making it fully compliant for use on balconies and terraces where there is a risk of falls and injury.
Certified for Australian Conditions
In addition to European testing, our glazing systems have also undergone wind load and break testing in Australia to meet local safety and performance standards. This ensures our products are not only internationally recognised but also locally validated for Australian conditions.
Svalson was first on the market with sliding windows
We are still world leaders. It is not difficult to be first, but to lead the way you always have to be one step ahead of your competitors and always prepared to give a little more. We are.
